Cooee teaser

‘Cooee’ is a shout used in Australia to attract attention. It is often used to find people lost in the bush, and the lost person in the bush to indicate their location often uses it. ‘Cooee’ is originally an Australian Aboriginal word meaning ‘come here’.

So, if you are involved in gaming in anyway, we at BONUSLIFE: EXTENDED PLAY would love to hear what you have to say, and possibly organize an interview with you for our documentary that has already begun production.

  1. "Cooee"

(Didn't a wrestler by the name of Henry Godwinn use that term before unleashing his finishing move, the devastating "slop drop"? Anyway...)

Hi everyone, I'm Daniel Teixeira from Toronto, ON Canada. As a hardcore classing video gamer, I just love sharing my passion for the classics with others!

My passion comes through in many different ways, from recording gaming speed runs and other masocistic challenges (such as finishing Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde for the NES without dying), to working on gaming commercials and music videos, as well as writing classic game reviews.

It seems to be working, as the gaming store that I work at (A & C Games) has been doing great in terms of its retro games and consoles sales :).

I have already had the privilege of meeting Phil Day and being interviewed by him for his upcoming documentary.

It was a great experience, but I wish that I could have shared more of my opinions regarding gaming and its impact on society (my fault, brain was a bit frozen that morning)!

Hopefully the documentary will go as planned and even find mainstream critical success! I'll be rooting for you guys ;).

  2. Though I don't really know what this documentary is about, since it's being run by Persistent Productions I know it will have something good to offer.

  3. Hi Daniel. My Name is Neil Caesar from New Bedford MA. I recently got done beating mike tyson in punchout for the NES in what i thought was an incredible time. i got curious and looked up the world record at twin galaxies and realized it wasn't only good but it was the albeit unverified new world record. 2:32 Next time i do it, it'll be recorded, and i'll own the record on twin galaxies. :)
